ACTION | Liberty University vs Virginia Military Institute

The Liberty men played against Virginia Military Institute on February 26th of this year, one of the later games of the season.  The Keydets kept the game pace at a blazing speed that unfortunately Liberty could not maintain, in spite of our improvements.  As a result, Liberty suffered a loss to Virginia Military Institute, 66-83. 

For this post, I decided to group all of the basketball imagery together and then share some of the crowd interaction and the Liberty University cheerleaders! Enjoy!

ACTION | Liberty University vs. Austin Peay State University

The Liberty Men's Basketball team took on Austin Peay State University on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013.  It was a well fought game that ended tied and went into overtime.  In the end, Liberty beat Austin Peay State University 79-73!  Of course, the Liberty University Cheerleaders were present to support the team and lead the crowd.  As the season has progressed, I've been pushing myself to better my skills at capturing action and new angles to shoot from.  I also enjoy catching various moments of interaction during the game.  I've seen Dr. Towns now at a few games!  I find especially awesome that he attends to support the team, athletes, and interact with fans and students.

ACTION | Liberty University Men's Basketball vs Radford University & Liberty University Cheerleading - February 5, 2013

Tuesdays I have a pretty full schedule and I was not sure I could attend the men's basketball game that night.  I had to go straight to the game from a workout but I'm really glad I did!  It was one of the best games I've watched so far this season.  Radford University is one of our biggest conference rivals and as such the game was very close all the way through!
